Juma Buli

Juma is a senior tax manager and is responsible for managing the delivery of BDO tax services in Uganda, assisted by other managers. He has extensive experience in the practical application of the taxation systems of the East African countries, accounting and special assignments for a wide range of sectors. 

Juma is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration majoring in accounting from Makerere University, a field that encompasses core skills like statistical analysis, financial analysis and interpretation, internal control systems review and monitoring. 
He has experience in use of qualitative and quantitative financial information to make informed decisions, predict trends and ensuring internal control systems are adequately designed.

Prior to joining BDO East Africa, Juma was a Senior tax advisor at Ernst & Young and his work experience spans over (11) years professional practice experience in the East African Region as a senior tax advisor
