Stephen is a manager in BDO Kenya’s advisory service line focusing on Analytics, Business Intelligence and Automation. Stephen has 6 years’ experience providing data and analytics related services and solutions in the financial services industry. He is a Technology graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University after pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.
Over the years, Stephen has accumulated vast experience working with major firms in East Africa to enable value and decision making from data to solve business challenges. He is skilled in programming, machine learning, statistical techniques, risk, analytics and data engineering. He has a demonstrated history of working in banking, insurance, telecommunications, government/public sector and not for profit sector.
Stephen is part of the expert peer data reviewers pool (predictive models) at UN OCHA Centre for Humanitarian Data. He provides support around the development, evaluation, validation and application of data science tools to better inform humanitarian response.
