BDO DRC releases its first thematic note dedicated to the Budget 2026 analysis note of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
This publication complements the monthly Economic Outlook note (first issue - February 2026 - already available on our platforms) and marks the launch of a series of analyses focused on specific economic issues.
The note provides a structured assessment of the 2026 budget, highlighting its key orientations, revenue and expenditure structure, as well as execution-related credibility constraints. The analysis shows that, despite a budget expansion driven by public investment, the actual economic impact will depend on the government’s ability to translate budget allocations into effective spending.
