Ali Selemani

Ali is a dynamic professional with over 20 years of experience in auditing, accounting, and advisory services, including 15 years in management roles. He has a strong track record of building businesses and establishing management controls across various sectors, such as banking, insurance, pension funds, asset management, manufacturing, and not-for-profit organizations. Ali began his career at Deloitte & Touche in 2002, quickly advancing to Audit Senior and subsequently working in their Montreal office. After returning in 2008, he was promoted to Manager and later took on the role of Director of Finance and Administration at UTT Microfinance Plc. In 2017, he joined KPMG as a Senior Manager focused on the financial services sector and is currently an Audit Partner at BDO East Africa, part of the BDO Global network.

Throughout his career, Ali has developed expertise in business strategy leadership, financial management, internal controls, and relationship management. His extensive experience spans audit management and team leadership within financial services, positioning him as a key figure in driving organizational success.
