Deepa Doshi

Deepa Doshi is a Partner for Deal Advisory at BDO East Africa and serves as the Country Partner for Kenya in the Manufacturing Africa initiative. With over 30 years of professional experience, she has built a strong reputation in Corporate Finance, Transaction Advisory, Financial Consultancy, Risk Advisory, Audit, and Compliance. Deepa’s expertise spans numerous sectors, including Manufacturing & Distribution, Financial Services (Banking and Insurance), Consumer, Industrial, Healthcare, Not-for-Profit, and Real Estate. She has led numerous high-profile mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions across East Africa, particularly in financial services, agriculture, and consumer sectors, offering end-to-end advisory support.

Deepa’s career includes five years in M&A Advisory within the Investment Banking division of Stanbic Bank Kenya. Earlier, she became the first female partner at BDO East Africa’s Kenya practice, marking a significant milestone in her career. Deepa holds a degree in Banking & International Finance from the City University Business School, London, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K). In addition to her professional roles, she serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Mayfair Insurance and dedicates herself to philanthropy, acting as the Board Finance Chair for the Aga Khan Health Services in Kenya, among other nonprofit leadership positions.
