Executive summary
Delord is a CPA and member of the Congo Institute of Public Accountants (IRC) as well as a Chartered Accountant and member of the National Order of Chartered Accountants (ONEC-RDC). He also holds an ACCA Diploma in IFRS and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE). He is joining BDO DRC on July 1, 2025, as Partner.
He started his career with PwC RDC in 2008 where he worked on various audit and advisory assignments before joining PwC Belgium in 2011 for a secondment where he worked for two years and completed a work placement at the Institut des Réviseurs d'Entreprises Belges (IRE/Belgium). During this secondment, he gained practical experience of IFRS and then returned to the DRC in 2013 (within PwC) to obtain his CPA in 2015.
At PwC DRC, Delord worked as Engagement Manager/Director overseeing planning, direction, coaching and supervision of audits engagements team as well as the completion of engagements. He is experienced and skilled in audit of banking and financial sector clients, telecom, CIPS and other sectors. Additionally, he worked as Head of operational risks with Banque Commercial Du Congo before rejoining PwC as Head of Internal Audit of Sub-Saharian French- Speaking Africa countries.
