Getinet Hailu

Getinet is the Director of Advisory Services at BDO Consulting PLC (BDO in Ethiopia), bringing over 25 years of extensive experience in corporate finance, tax, financial audit, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and fundraising. He has significant advisory expertise in construction, real estate, manufacturing, and audit services, positioning him as a key figure in Ethiopia's consulting landscape.

Prior to joining BDO, Getinet held prominent roles at two of Ethiopia's largest real estate companies, Habesha Real Estate and Gift Real Estate. He also served as Finance Manager at MIDROC, the largest private enterprise conglomerate in Ethiopia, which has interests across agriculture, manufacturing, and gold mining. Getinet holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an MBA, both from Addis Ababa University, underscoring his strong educational foundation in finance and management.
